Also congratulations to Sam Cooley on your 2nd place and a 299 game.

From all us in the Illawarra committee, Congrats to Scott Johnston and Sam Cooley 1st and 2nd in open masters and Ryan ( the younger johnston ) and Zoe Lawson in the classic masters finishing 3rd and 1st.
Scott also bowled his PB with a 300, and a great 299 game followed 2 games later for Sam. This saw both bowlers move away from the opposition. In the last game it went down to the last frame of the tournament for a 1 pin victory to Scotty. He needed to close out the 10th with 3 strikes and was successful

Scott finished on 234.13 and Sam with 232.17 scratch average over the 15 games.
Is was also great to see our 2007 Illawarra junior open champion Kevin McRae do well to hold out a late charge from Joel Greentree and Leigh Simpson to finish 3rd.

Congrats also to Aimee Bennett 5th in the girls open masters.

In the classic, Illawarra bowlers Zoe lawson finished 1st girls awith a 3rd boys for Ryan johnston and a 5th boys for Ryan Readman. Well done.
