Clarification?

I just need clarification on an issue here... i have been previously informed that when juniors bowl in an adult tournament they are from then on ineligible to bowl in junior tournaments until the following year, unless the tournament is listed as adult/junior??

I am seeing a few juniors enter into the adult circuit whilst still bowling in the junior circuit... can i do this as well?

Up until 2008 I bowled in Junior , Adult & Youth tournaments as a junior & there was no problem.

Technically it depends on the rules of your event.

For example, does the event say "Open to all registered TBA bowlers" or "Open to all ADULT TBA registered bowlers" ? If it says adult, then you'd have to purchase an adult registration.

The difference is "Adult" or "Open" events, just because it contributes to the Adult rankings does not make it exclusively adult - they don't exclude the seniors or youth...

I too bowled Adult events as a junior (hmmm, last decade...), but only when they were open to "All registered players"
