we're Excited....we are getting a new bowling centre...SEVERAL in fact!!!!

Mind you, we have to move to Queensland first in order to take advantage of this Christmas bounty(Santa can only fit so much into that sleigh!).....It'll be so hard to take, having to leave our centre here, with its 25yr old (plus) equipment, the wooden lifeless pins, the airconditioning that does not always work, the overabundance of coaches.....

Sad we are at leaving NT, however we are looking for to a rejuvenated outlook on our bowling once we hit the Queensland coast in the New Year......

Christmas cheers one and all

i agree with matt i wish X-road would fix their old lanes...
its good that their going sinthetic or however u spell it
maybe that'll help

even though i live no where near x-roads or whatever it is
mat da brat
all though the lanes there aren't in very good condition the lanes at my bowl are that good either but we make do because most centres are doing the best they can and on behave of them im sorry that they are not up to ur "standards"
the staff at bateau always make up for the pretty old lanes there with helping out the juniors in any way they can.
and unlike some people it doesn't really bother me how "crappy" the lanes are i try and deal with it and do the best i can.
im sorry if i am sounding like a bitch but i just read that and i think the way u r always bagging out ur centre is just wrong if u hate it so much leave and go to another
me and the other many juniors i bowl with left one centre for another so yeah just leave.
not totalbowling i mean ur centre
luv michelle

michelle,
i agree the lanes at the centre you bowl in are not necesarily the most important thing. i bowl at salisbury and the lanes there are not that great, but the staff make up for that, and also the support the centre gives to the state teams is beyind comparison with any other centre.
old lanes or new lanes every one has the same condition, and in presidents shield trials in feb the bowlers who bowl there will have the advantage, if they are that bad.
