Using a mates AMF Ninja last night at AMF northcote i preceded to shoot games of 228, 187, 248, 222.

Not bad for my first urethane outing in a while!!!

Then went to my reactive stuff and carry dropped considerably (hitting too hard)

I dont like to brag but when this topic popped up i felt i had too..

ok i do like to brag and this just gives me the perfect opportunity

i wasnt really sure if i should put this in here or the book of shame as its all to do with splits but i thought it was the result of some good bowling so justice is served in the book of fame..

some may remember my post about the great bowling at village bowl a couple months ago where 2 300's were shot in one night and some other big scores as well. I may have given the impression village was easy.. well they have just put the new synthetics in and its proving to be quite challenging for some bowlers..

while bowling in the village super league last night i mangaged to leave a number of splits, but i also managed to pick some of them up too, some of the more notible split/spares got to the
6,8 left it twice spared it once
4,10 spared
5,10 spared
and the 4,6,10 which i spared by hurtling my spare ball down in a fit of anger just below the 40km/h mark and bouncing the 10pin back up on the deck to take the 4pin out.. now who said this was a game of skill and acuracy? give me brute force anyday

i also watched Trevor Crabb spare the 4,7,9,10 so well done to him too..

Well i dont normally boast because i think i suck but tonight i spared the 4-6 for the first time was pretty proud of that, finished the game on 224 with no opens which is good for me lol

I did everything wrong : late for the start, didn't follow through, rushed my bowling, pulled my arm accross my body, no practice etc etc etc.

The funniest thing was my partner and I were bowling against the League's president and secretary - and were they pissed
