Here are a few interesting statistics from the USBC...

1. The largest difference between game bowled and average: Steve Rock in 2004 bowled a 68 with a 230 average.

2. In 2003, Steven Tudor bowled his first ever game - a 298, using a 12lb house ball and hire shoes.

3. In 1946, Bud Mathieson bowled 15 fouls in a single game.

4. Mike Kappa in 1981 bowled a game score of 2, He also bowled 19 gutter balls in the process, another record.

5. Here is commitment! - Eric Jenson in 95-96 bowled in 32 individual leagues!

6. Oldest person to shoot a 300 is 87 - Berry Thomas in 2001.

7. The first recorded 300 game was bowled in Canada in 1881

8. The lowest series with a 300 was bowled in 1989 by Reed Townley - 476 this included 89, 87, 300 - I guess he found his line !

9. Audrey Gable in 1988 was 8 months pregnant and bowled a 300.

10. Jeff Carter holds the current record of 83 - 300 Games

11. Robert Mushtare has bettered all the above statistics - ask his dad!
 
Man that last one sounds good...hahahaha...btw i reckon when/if i bowl a 300 i could probably crack the lowest series one...hahaha...im THAT good
 
On current form, Robert Musthare can overtake Jeff Carter's record of most 300 Games in less than an hour.
It all depends on the printer not breaking down printing the scoresheets and how fast his dad can change the scores using a No. 2 pencil. :D
