We are going ahead with the 13 teams that have entered. Prize fund will be adjusted.. Still time for 1 more team to enter to make even numbers. Contact Aspley bowl on 3263 8848 asap.

Still be a good night for all concerned.
Bring a few extra dollars as Aspley are having an AUCTION while lanes are being conditioned.
(RIKKI REID has generously offered his services as Auctioneer.)

Breakfast at 4am for those with hunger pains.
Canteen open all night for anyone needing that pick me up coffee etc etc.

Thanks to Christine, Geroge and the team at Aspley for another excellent event.
Congrats to all winners and on to next event we go.

Special mention to Jak on his back to back 300's - there is still life in him yet!! LOL

May never be recognised by TBA... but we watched Jak McDougall ( 70 years young) throw 30 strikes in a row....all legit.
All bowlers participating either shook his hand, slapped him on the back or hugged him. I for one hugged the heck out of him.
CONGRATULATIONS Jak. You are a legend ....We are all so very proud of you.


Jak will be recognised by all Haros' leagues and Aspley 10pin bowl and will receive the awards due to him.


'tas a long night but many team reaped some excellent rewards. $$$$$

The 2 young juniors that bowled were a credit to their Coach (Paul 'Towie' Eustace). Their Sportsmanship was unbelievable. They are more than welcome to bowl with us again.

To everyone at Aspley, Thank you for an awesome night, A BIG Thank you to Mrs. P
Once again Congratulations to Jak for his back to back 300. I had never seen a real 300 game and he showed me 2 in a row. That was awesome. Like Jak said to me all night "Not bad for an old B@stard"
Another BIG Thank you to Towie and Family for everything(You maybe my cuz but still Thanx mate)
Thank you to both Towie and Cookie for their advice, tips and funny stories.
I am looking forward to the September marathon, I am spreading the word around Bundy about it, hopefully I can get a team or 2 or 3 to come down for it, see if they can go the distance.
