2011 TBA National Rankings Winners Decided

With the final ranked event of the year concluding this afternoon with the AMF Australian Cup at AMF Tuggeranong
the winners of the 2011 TBA National Rankings have now been decided.

Prior to the weekend’s event, Michael Little (NSW) was 15 points clear of George Frilingos (QLD). As the rankings
winner is decided on the bowlers 4 best events plus the AMF Australian Masters, both of those bowlers had to finish
fourth or better to improve their points score. Frilingos finished strongly in the final to win the event and the Rankings
for 2011 with 361 points; 35 clear of second placed Little.

Again in the women’s division, the title went down to the final tournament with Victorian bowler Bec Whiting finishing
with 385 points, just 2 points in front of Ann-Maree Putney from New South Wales.

Sam Cooley (NSW) won the male Youth Division with a total of 370 points, 15 points clear of Dion Alexander from
South Australia. In addition to winning the women’s rankings, Bec Whiting also won the women’s Youth Division with
480 points, a massive 150 points clear of second place Lexi Nicoll (NSW).

Terry Wenban (QLD) had a convincing win in the male Seniors Division, accumulating 318 points and finishing 59 ahead
of second placed Rob Chinner (SA). Mick Talevski (VIC) was only one point behind Chinner. The women’s Senior
Division was won by Jeanette Baker (VIC), a feat she has now achieved for the last 6 years. Jeanette won this year with
500 points, the maximum points possible and the first time this has been achieved in the history of the rankings
program. Julie Hird (QLD) who recently won gold in the women’s Masters at the Asian Seniors in Guam finished
second with 361 points.

TBA is pleased to announce a new Division in 2012, with the creation of a Grand Seniors
Rankings Division.

The first ranked event for 2012 is the National Youth Cup on January
7th and 8th at Werribee Superbowl.

As of 1st January all points for the new rankings season in all divisions are removed.
