More to the point, what is the use of having these specs, when two handed bowlers, who don't put fingers & thumb in the ball, can change the dynamics on each delivery, beyond the 1/1/3 !!!!!

Depends on where you live. Mt Warren Lanes (south of Beenleigh) have a popular phantom league - all the cool bowlers are there :)

Josh, Toowoomba has some crazy inhabitants (like Ubby & Cass) but they do have a great coach there (Grandison). Look him up if you want to improve your bowling.

Personally, I believe the whole roll-off concept is out-dated, and does not achieve the outcome we all desire - putting together a shield team consisting of the most worthy bowlers. I suggest that rather than a single weekend rolloff, we should consider a number of nominated events/tournaments...
