Emerson Shield 2006

no need

the pink kingdom has crumbled in 2006, smashed at country cup as the even money favourite, axing long term stable mate rowey from country cup, m.c hamma serving suspension or was it having a forced holiday???

so theres nothing to hang $hit on your mob about, you have pressed all your own buttons up there

woza's crew, won't even be competitive, another team that has failed miserably after success, these days its like latrobe who??????

and well can't touch geelong, they aren't in the mix, although seriously, are they ever

gazza's mob CANNOT bowl on any form of oil, so they be getting blown off the lanes, by others ability to string heaps of strikes

haysey, he'll be looking forward to getting another all stars certificate, that'll be the highlight of his weekend, other than blowing porto off the lanes

them eastern suburbs guys, they are kidding themselves if they think they remotely have a chance, 3rd at best

leaving the only 2 horses in the race

the home team and the boys on the murray, timing is everything, both teams will cruise past everyone else all weekend. bringing it down to 2 key matches, when they play each other.

will the charm and finesse of the werribee machine, gracefully work its magic on the northerners

or

will the heart, determination and the in your face aggressiveness of the boys up north, unsettle the graceful colts.

i wish you all the best of luck at the house of pleasure and may the best team win

allstars

hayes, mc kinnon, loader, ryan, porto

oh whens this thing happening??? lol, i thought it was meant to be last weekend

So who is in the final Gary - will this really be two horse race, or is Werribee just on paper too strong.

Craig don't forget my everyones good mate Toth, who is bound to upset a few peoples apple cart!!!

VB

craig the most accurate form you have ever written!
nice work
good luck to my fellow team mates in glen and porto i know you will smash them!
cheers

Werribee have been favorites before , 18 games have to be bowled . Shepp have to be respected and melton too. I would put my money on the Werribee women first. Having said that if Werribee's bowlers 4 , 5 , 6 in the mens team can shoot around the card then they are home .

Chrissy

hey stevie wonder you slipped in the key word

"HOPE"

i hope i win tattslotto tomorrow night, if i do, i might rate your guys

oh another key word

"MIGHT"

shepp get respect, no chance, they are imploding, and the more they are reminded about it, the better off everyone else will be

as for the meltonians, they will lose 2-5 alot, and i know who'll be winning most of the 2's

Men's Teams in Final (didn't post earlier - I've been in Shep the last couple of days)

Werribee
Mildura
Shepparton
Melton
Bendigo
Colac
Narre Warren
Latrobe Valley
Sale
Wodonga

Can't remember the womens teams off the top of me thinning head

BTW Craig - you got it all wrong - Merv CAN bowl on oil

The womens teams are :

Werribee
Geelong
Shepparton
Ballarat
Narre Warren
Mildura
Mentone
Colac
Bendigo
Ed Fleming

yeah but what about the other 6 guys?????

I would say that the other 6 don't have great records when there is a lot of oil - so fair comment. But you only have to win head to head and it is not all about most pinfall. I don't think anyone would expect us to finish top 2 or 3 but bowling rarely goes straight to script. Just look at this years CCup -- W'Bool Men were 3rd or 4th on total pinfall but only lost 2 games out of 20. And i bet if you asked anyone where W'Bool would finish no-one would have said first.

gees gazza, you've nearly listed them in finishing order
Well that was just a fluke - total coincidence!

hey craig, after that, i'd be staying well clear of the bunkers now, or you might find yourself buried in one :):):)

Can't get buried in them if he is too chicken to play when they predict light showers and 16 degrees?

Maybe its netball for our Haysey!!

bit like his football team

at least my team can lose rain, hail or shine

u know he's gonna come back with a bowling at melton comment don't you

Knobends

Cant you see that I was trying to save you another 20 shot destroyation...until at least you get some more practice in? Well if its gonna be like that, consider 7.30 in the morning booked! Better yet, maybe you can talk Mr. Taafe into a couple of lead off games against the old Meltonians? Or hey, I have an idea, maybe I can come and meet you down at your spot...

No.3 wasnt it? ;)

That was in your conditions, 22 and no wind :p
Play in my conditions and we'll see a different story.

Oh by the way, get your new gear drilled up left handed - thats where all your talent lies.

Does anyone know what the changes are going to be for next years Emerson?

I noticed in the handout that it is going to be announced next weekend and will make Emerson "the biggest teams event"
