The physically handicapped.

I'm wondering if there any leagues that cater for the physically handicapped in Brisbane. My boy has Myotonica Dystrophia and he loves to bowl. He's physically weaker these days after a long stay in hospital. A league that uses bumpers would be great.

Where in Brisbane are you located ? I think most centres have leagues that would be suitable. Might be as simple as contacting your local centre. Check the centre database for phone numbers and locations.

Found a great Saturday morning league for my son at Chermside Hyperbowl. He's having a ball and is able to be competitive with the other bowlers. God I love this sport.

PS: Lizzie who runs this league suffered a minor heart attack Tuesday night. I believe she's home now. We wish her all the best and a speedy recovery.
