Sharing a taxi from the airport is the quickest and possibly the most cost efficient mode. $70.00 ($35.00 each) should do it.
However, an other alternative, if you can't share a cab, is to catch the Frankston and Peninsula Airport Bus. This bus stops right outside the bowl.
Buses depart weeknights 6.45pm and 8.30pm from the airport. The price is around the $35.00 mark. However, you will need to book by calling (03) 9783 1199 or from New Zealand +613 9783 1199.
Bus towa a trailer so there's plenty of room for bowling bags.
Bus pickup from out the front of the bowl on Sunday is at 12.15, 2.10, 4.55 & 7.10pm only.
