hey Chris aka knuckle head, the TBNZ youth trials for ABF and youth challenge will be held this weekend. i hope this will answer your question.

"Tim Gough and Suzanne Howell are national youth champions and also No. 1 ranked bowlers as of 13th October, so there are 3 places in the Asian Zone Youth Team to be bowled for in this trial. (Male and Female.)"

"The results from these trials will also assist the selectors in determining positions in the New Zealand team for the Australian Youth Teams challenge in Melbourne, January 2006."

Nope, the trial and Auckland Masters have been carefully planned so that those bowlers trialing can also bowl Auckland Masters if they choose to.
