There are a few unique features about this ball, not available anywhere on the current market.

The first is this ball has an Asymmetrical High Performance Core. This allows multiple drilling options and breakpoint shapes, aimed at providing the better bowlers with the hit and carry of a high performance ball.

The second is this ball is the first ball on the market to ever introduce silicone particles in its coverstock. This provides excellent length through the front part of the lane, and exceptional energy retention for increased pin carry.

Urethane balls tend to read the lanes very early and produce a smoother transition from wet to dry. This cover still produces a smooth transition, but is much easier to get through fried heads than traditional urethane pieces.

If you struggle on wet dry house shots, or flying backends, this is THE ball for you.

Sound like a great ball. Correct me if I'm wrong...the desperado doesn't hook much, right? I'm looking for a step up ball from my plastic. Got my eyes on a Brunswick Slingshot already but this ball seems nice
