Your First 300 Game??

Just out of curiousity I just have a couple of questions for those people lucky (and skillful) enough to have bowled the perfect game.
1. How old were you when you bowled you first 300?
2. Before your 300, what was your highest score? and
3. How long had you been bowling before your first 300? (In leagues etc, not counting bumper bowling parties as a kid!!!)

19th Jan. 1987 (that made me 27) First left hander in S.A. to bowl one.

not sure what was highest before that.

started bowing when I was 15

1. How old were you when you bowled you first 300?

Sanctioned: Age 27 - May 2002.
Practice: Age 17 - August 1992.

2. Before your 300, what was your highest score?

In a sanctioned comp, 289 about 4 times.

3. How long had you been bowling before your first 300?

13 years in leagues. 18 all up, I never bowled bumper bowling or party bowling, always properly structured practice and training sessions.

Also If you have bowled any since and if so how many?

None since. Had a 299.

Previous high game was 287
Was 20 at the time and been bowling 4 years
One more since then and a couple of 290s

OK, here's mine...

1. My first 300 was on the 17th March 2004.
2. My high game before hand was a 276 about 2 weeks before I bowled the 300.
3. I had been bowling for about 7 years before my first 300. I've bowled half my life (ever since I was about 8).

My first one was when i was 20. Before that my best was 2 x 299's (bloody 10 pin). Had been bowling for 13 years before that, have had 3 since (sanctioned) and 1 in practice but that don't count aye.

288 at Kedron on the old guardian lanes.

Bowling for 18 yrs. Was 12 yrs for my first. Have 8 in total and 5x299 and 2x298.

1 - 15/12/05 and i was 25.
did my 1st 300 in true style i must admit..... didnt even hit the headpin on the 1st shot!
2 - 299 x 2, one @ sunset bowl toowoomba in '99 & one @ old blacktown centre just before it closed down in '05
3 - must of been abt 5 when i started bowling.... i know we used to have mat which went halfway down the lane!
ive bowled 3 x 300's now. 2 @ new blacktown centre and 1 @ Milton.
dont ya love bowling?? 20 years to bowl 1, since ive another 2 in 6 months nfire:

Highest sanctioned score previous to it was 289 (Front 10, 3 pin...yay)
I had been bowling for 4 years before my first 300.
I shot another one on March 15 this year, the day before I turned 18
