A great turnout at the first VSS event for 2010 at Mentone Bowl.
47 bowlers from all across Victoria, Horsham, Morwell, Bendigo, Ballarat and many Melbourne centres with a couple of ladies bowling (ladies received 8 pins per game) and new bowlers, young up and comers and of course some "older" players, participated.
Due to the extra numbers the prizefund was increased and paid down to 15th position (1:3).
Some big games of 260 plus and the high game of the tournament went to Barry Wicks, with a 277 game, which allowed him to be Top Qualifier after the 8 games of qualifying.
Big revving Andrew Thorpe placed in the final cash of 15th, with Vanessa Pappin cashing - one for the ladies!
CONGRATULATIONS GO TO VI HUYNH who placed 2nd after qualifying. Vi shot 204 to Barry's 188 in the Final Match.
