COST: $80 for 8 games

FORMAT: 4 games Short Oil, break, 4 games Long Oil

Positions will be declared based on total pinfall at the completion of the 8 games.

1st place - $400
2nd place - $250
3rd place - $225
4th place - $200
5th place - $175
6th place - $150
7th place - $125
8th place – $100
9th place – $100
10th place – $80
11th place – $80

15th place – $40
16th place - $40

We currently have 35 bowlers who have already put their names down for this event.

Sounds great. Would be there if I wasn't working. Hopefully if it proves a succss something similar will be run again in the future. Good luck with it.

sorry to do this but i got family committments and i gotta pull out. apologies for the late notice and i hope to compete in another tourney like this in the future
 
I should also add as the city to surf is on tomorrow, it would have been impossible for me to actually make it as the road i use is right on the course.
 
WOW HOW TOUGH WAS THAT . THANKS TO ALL AT LICOMBE BOWL WAS A GREAT TOURNAMENT . IT MADE YOU WORK HARD FOR EVERYTHING LONG OIL WAS HARD THEN YOU THINK SHORT OIL WOULD BE EASIER (NOT) WAS JUST AS HARD .BUT WAS GREAT TO BOWL IN EVERTHING RAN WELL LOOK FORWARD TO NEXT ONE .

We played on the 2008 Mens World Championship patterns and the 4 games on the long oil and 4 games on short oil certainly proved challenging. Andrew Frawley had the high block on the long oil, and Jarrod Lean the high block on the short oil.

We would like to wish both of these bowlers the best of luck at the Mens World Championship in Thailand.

Keep a look out for the next event at Lidcombe before the end of the year.
