The 3rd Round of the NSW Grand Prix Series saw AMF Warrawong play host to the 2003 South Coast Open. After plenty of changes to Im bowling then im not bowling, we finished with 48 entries.

Qualifying saw plenty of High Games, with Steve Lovell shooting the highest Qualifying game of 290 ( NOT BAD FOR AN OLD FELLOW). There was also plenty of low scores to match, but after all said and done we had a Final 16 for Day 2. Cut was 71 over.

Matchplay saw some more inpressive scores, scores of 230 or 240 didn't always result in a WIN! The Classic moment of the day was Matt Riley's 300 game, if you speak to Matt the 12th strike was all about the WOOD. The hand carved 300 plague you receive when you bowl a 300 at a Grand Prix Event.

Finally we had a right hander win an event and the lefty's domination was brought to a halt. WELL DONE CHRISTIAN!!!
