What the hell?????

$3000 first place, and a $300 entry fee? Has someone down at AMF lost their plot? Here I am seeing all these promotional emails and newletters promoting the super six, saying greater prize money and better tournaments, and now we pay more, with less to win.

Excuse me AMF, please explain

YURAC,
Surely if they recieve say 120 entries, they will pay down further..Maybe 1 in 3.And yes AMF must be losing the plot a bit. With the support the super six got last year, u would think the would only try to improve things.
Is there a skins or preview on the Friday night?

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION!!!

Dwambo,

Sorry but no skins or preview Friday night.
As for extra money & paydown.....I think the prize fund is probably based on 96 entries so if more are recd.....yes they will pay more spots......sponsorship was lost from grants recd last year, me thinks to the tune of around $1200.00 so that explains some of the reduction in prize fund....for further info you would need to speak with AMF.

Hope to see you in January.

Brenton / Colin

Can you put me down for B squad please, if not, A will be fine. Just one question, I thought AMF were running a PRO AM with all their events next year, it would appear that they are not on this occasion. Since there is nothing planned, how about one of you guys organise a POTS night or some skins. With the amount of people who will be in town, I'm sure you'll get a few. See you there.

George

George,

Unable to put you in as they are under instructions to accept any entry without either $100 deposit or credit card details.....looks like they are getting tough next year.
Would love to see brackets but I would not have the time to set it up...maybe Brenton may do something.

Happy New Year!!!!!!
Cheers

Thats ok Colin, I'll have to send my deposit without an entry. I never got one, doesn't matter I already know the details. How you going for entries so far?

George

Colin

Just out of curiosity, how many entries is that? 80? 100?

Looks like the cricket is sold out in Adelaide for the Australia match, dam!!!

Lets also hope some of those 45 units make there way to the edge of the lane lol

George,

Full tourny is 96.
Bowled on the condition Monday night, oil did find its way to the edge, as we only bowl 8 games it should last ok....we bowled 5 man teams with a 4 game peterson prior & it was still ok with a ball change 3/4 way thru the night.

Cheers

Hi guys,,
Michael Zentveld and myself had a chuck yesterday (thursday), and was promptly joined by George "Cash boy" Frilingos and Brian "I can pick up the 3-4-6-7-9-10 split" Pilkinton.

I can honestly say that the most likely outcome for finalists this year will be power players and left handers. There is a big hold zone for the rev players, and the left side seems to be fair. Down the boards seemed a little inconsistant, but still playable.

Good luck to all, I'll be floating around the bowl sometime later today. Woodville oils at around 3:30 pm

Thanks for posting the scores Graeme.

It's good to be able to check results as they happen.

Have looked at the a squad scores after 4 games.

Very low scoring for an Australian Tournament.
So i gather the scoring is tough and accuracy is at a premium. Which if this is the case i think that is great for Australian bowling.

Once again thanks for the scores, will watch with interest through the weekend.

Regards.
