This is a message sent from Judy Ritger regarding Dick, who suffered a stroke a fortnight ago :
"Dick is continuing to improve a little more each day. He saw his doctor today and was told that he's doing very well.
The doctor has him scheduled to see an eye specialist next week, because he thinks there may be a need to check out any possible eye damage from the stroke - that's something that frequently happens with this type of stroke. It would help him regain his sense of balance better to have glasses that are better suited for him.
Progress will be slow, so I hope his fans aren't expecting some kind of fast recovery. He's eager to be able to manage steps once again and be able to go dowstairs into his office. We think that should happen in the near future.
