Foxtel recording advice

Can you record foxtel to an external PVR? I dont have Foxtel IQ but have a Panasonic Twin Tuning Blue Ray hard disc. Just want to know if it will record Foxtel shows?

Should be able to... If the Panasonic has a Video "in", or an HDMI input

I used to do it that way - then I woke up and got Foxtel IQ2 -do it, you won't regret it. You can record on the Panasonic and the IQ2 at the same time if you want. Otherwise, set the Planner on the IQ2 and program what you want to record, then, at your leisure, record to the PVR and, if you've got the bits, to a DVD. We've got a Sony recorder with a HDD and DVD.

Yes you can record foxtel on an external PVR, you just have to make sure you are watching the same channel as you are recording at the time, and not flick it hehe
