We have organised two ranked tournaments in NSW for the junior and youth bowlers, giving them the opportunity to bowl strong conditions, against interstate bowlers. This is no easy task, finding sponsorship and spending personal time. These tournaments do not generate $ for anyone else except the bowlers and pay lineage.
Unfortunately the response from the youth/juniors in NSW has not been great, and I wonder how we can encourage this to improve.
