Cararda Classic at Shellharbour...something different

To all interested bowlers:

The Mick Camarda Memorial Classic returns to Shellharbour Bowl on the 23,24 and 25 November.

This will be Australia's first 'intentional' multi condition event, with both qualifying and finals played on 2 different oil patterns, 31ft and 41 ft.

Qualifying is multiple attempts with your 1st attempt only $65 and further attempts $45
(there is an special Friday night squad at $50.)
In Qualifying 3 games are bowled on each condition, top 14 scores proceed to finals.
2 bowlers will make to finals via a one game desperado squad.. cost $15

In the Finals, 16 bowlers play 6 games, 3 on each shot, top 8 continue, bowl 4 more, 2 on each shot, top 3 stepladder. The highest placed bowler in the stepladder chooses what condition they want to play on, 31ft or 41ft.

At the moment $800 is 1st but most probably this will be $1000,
2nd $600, 3rd $500, 4th $430, 5th $390, 6th 350, 7th $320, 8th $300, payout to 16th which is $120.
There are 6 qualifying squads including one Sunday morning with the desperado on straight after. Anyone interested please contact me on 02 42969922 or 0413 160333.

Looks like a great event, the format would be a little confusing for some but it looks pretty standard of the events you would bowl in Asia. I hope it runs well, I'm afraid it clashes with the Bundeburg Open in Queensland so I can't make it.

All the best and I hope the bowlers down your way support it. It will sort out the men from the boys and the women from the girls. Good luck
