North Qld B N T Constructions Open
Attention all junior bowlers!!!
Mt Louisa Lanes in Townsville will once again be hosting the B n T Constructions Open on December 1st and 2nd this year. The tournament is opent o any registered bowlers under 18, and especially all NQ juniors are urged to attend!
There aren't many junior tournaments in NQ at the moment, mainly due to lack of support from juniors. It would be great to see as many people as possible compete so that we get the opportunity to have more great tournaments... and its the last one of the year!!!!! If you are aging out, this is your last chance to compete in a junior open.
Entry fee is a low $120, and it is well worth the money for the number of games bowled (format is interesting).
Format:
This is a Combined Junior Scratch Tournament, there are no
separate divisions for boys and girls.
Stage 1: Qualifying
All Bowlers will bowl 12 games in one appearance in 4 x 3 game blocks.
Stage 2: Matchplay
Pinfall from Stage 1, is dropped.
Top 12 Bowlers on total pinfall from stage 1 will bowl 11 games head to head with bonus points being awarded for each game, 20 points for a win, 10 points for a draw, and nil for a loss.
Stage 3: Final
Pinfall from Stage 2 is dropped.
The top 5 bowlers on pinfall after Stage 2 will proceed to Stage 3,
being the elimination playoff. The top 5 bowlers will bowl 1 game on the same pair of lanes. The bowler with the lowest game will be
eliminated. This process will be repeated moving lanes after each game until the winner of the 2007 B & T Constructions Junior Open is decided.
Please Note: The top qualifier will be given one life through the
elimination final and may only be eliminated after losing two games.

The Elimination Final will follow the completion of the Matchplay Final.
Prize Fund
Based on 26 entries
Prize money is based on 26 entries.
Will increase or decrease depending on the number of entries received.
1st Place: $ 650.00 2nd Place: $ 450.00
3rd Place: $ 300.00 4th Place: $200.00
5th Place: $150.00 6th Place: $100.00
High Game Non Qualifier Male & Female $50.00
