Great performance Chaddy team, well done.
And a big congrats to the Keon squad for living up to the hype.

firstly i would like to congratulate keon park for cleaning up again this year. james bowles bowled absolutely magnificant, as did all of the keon park boys.
in the girls tracey and carly were making the game look easy all weekend.
From a team point of view they were very close knit, and were always supporting each other.
Congrats to all bowlers who made allstars, they were all deserving inductees.
The lanes held up very well, and although the centre tempurature was very hot, everybody enjoyed themselves.
The atmosphere was great, and that is why junior shield is such an enjoyable event to bowl in.
Hope to see as many eligable bowlers as possible next year competing and just having fun, and keeping the spirit of junior shield alive in many years to come.

Well done to all the bowlers over the weekend.

i must say though i was a little disapointed by the attitudes of some people and teams over the weekend...

a team chanted "we got a white wash" and in my opinion was in very bad taste. its bad sportmanship.. its bad enough that that team lost every point.. but you dont need to rub it in their faces.

congrats to keon park for the awesome bowling and i must say i was really happy with everyones attitudes!!

a special congrats to hannah from highpoint.. you bowled like a champion and you had one of the best attitudes there! best of luck for the future.

Well done to all competitors and it looks like the scoring was huge!

can someone please post the allstars?

thanks

Well Done Parkers! I must say the Shield was Keon Park's at the end of day one

And, yes, i agree with Jane, could some post the other All Stars (we know that Tracey & James made it)

The Allstars teams were

1. Tracey Madden (Keon Park)
2. Carly Allen (Keon Park)
3. Kimberley Johnson (Knox)
4. The nice girl from Sunshine.. sorry forgot her name!
5. Pam Collard (Boronia) and Kristi Goddfrey (Box Hill) tied for 5th Spot.

Boys
James Bowles (KP)
Brett Hughes (Moorabin)
Chris Benson (Highpoint)
Chris Castle (Forest Hill)
Simon Hocking (KP)

Hey all,

Im pretty sure that the sunshine girls all star was Kaitlyn Griffiths..

Also well done to all the teams who competed during the weekend, and to the parkers for making it 3 yrs in a row.

See u's all next yr at Northcote 8)

I just wanna say congrats to all the juniors that competed in this year's Shield. It was an amazing event and well done to Keon Park for showing who the team to beat is.

To Tracey Madden and James Bowles, congrats on being the number one All-Stars. You bowled absolutely amazing.

To Kaytlin Griffiths of Sunshine, you rock girl. You were the best captain we could have ever asked for and you bowled outstanding and kept our girls team together. :D

If you can't tell, I'm a devoted Sunshine girl and I will be at the Shield next year, hopefully as captain.

Again, congrats to everyone who bowled at Shield and a special well done to Tammy of Boronia and Hannah of Highpoint, you girls showed outstanding talent and good luck for the future.

i'd just like to say congratulations to everyone who competed on the weekend and everyone did a great job. Also well done Keon Park for winning again!

I wanna say thanks to Kaytlin Griffiths, our captain (i'm from Sunshine), she kept our whole team together and made it on the All Star team. We will miss u next year! And also thanks to the boys team and the supporters who kept us going.

I'd also like to say that I lost to someone more than half my size  good on ya Hannah from Highpoint, keep up the good bowling. Oh and Rebecca fell on her butt infront of everyone!!!

Chloe.

Yeah, thanks Chloe for your wonderful support and I'm glad everyone enjoyed my slip on the lane. At least I will be remembered in Shields to come as the biggest idiot to ever to be there. :D

All the best to teams next year and I hope to see some familiar faces at Northcote. :D

First and foremost congratulations to Keon Park, on such a huge win. Although it was expected, no one thought the margin would be a record, especially with one game less than usual.

A great conrgat's to our Sunshine girls who performed well above expectations, but I should be used to that by now, and to Kaytlin what a way to end your junior years, ALL STAR ! ! ! ! ! You did us all proud. Oh and by the way Chloe, glad you are facing your fears head on, oh, well, maybe if you walking on your knees you would be a bit closer to facing them head on. Looking forward to next year, that's if I'm still welcome.

Congrats to all on yet another successfully run and highly enjoyable Junior Shield.
