Abralon Grits vs Sandpaper Grits

Worth letting you guys know the following Chart.

The CAMI grade is for sandpaper, the FEPA grade is for Abralon.

Just a note of interest... MOST sandpapers sold in Australia, well down here at least, go off the "P" or FEPA rating... the same as Abralon.

Most ball companies when finishing their bowling balls either use Abralon... or if using sandpaper, it goes under the "CAMI" rating.

So then... when you have a ball finished at 800grit... that IS NOT the same 800grit out here... it is much finer.

There is talk that all sandpaper makers will be going to the "P" rating to make things uniform.
