and my response also crossed paths with yours.. Yes there is a big difference between 20 and 32. I bowled in the Newcastle Cup a couple of years ago when there were only 35, and had a great time. 20 though, is just not enough.

You only have to look at the number of entries for this years Brunswick cup in Canberra for evidence that the hard times are biting. (61 this year)

looks like a pretty high scoring condition, but disappointing turn out with only 61 entries. Obviously lots of people like myself, who just could not justify the expense this year. Congrats Neil on the 300.
