    AMF centres enforcing TBA membership!

But social bowlers pay social rates, no guarantee the the lanes would be oiled either.

I contacted Visionary about who the distributor in Australia was, as I was interested in some of their Bowling Balls. They told me that due to their previous distributor (Bowling Balls Australia) owing a significant amount to them that they no longer have a distributor in Australia. I was forced...

    Oiling Patterns...

Age old saying.... Teenagers should move out of home quickly, while they still know everything. Advertising the pattern is advisable. The only thing that is more important than advertising the oil condition is the technical staff of the tournament actually getting it to play like it is...

Big names set to come down under in October

Or maybe George likes living in a fantasy land where he thinks he is more important than everyone else? Surely there can't be a real reason that he can't "give" the names of the players. How did you go in Malaysia Mr Frillingos? Roger

    Storm Storm Invasion review

The ball won a tournament? Impressive. A ball that pays entry fee, puts shoes on and strikes and spares all on its own. It does it better than the people bowling in the tournament. So good in fact, it outscores every bowler in the field. I'll take 4, just so it can win me a few tournaments...

FREE 1-on-1 instruction and doing my part for the game

Wayne If I read your post correctly can I assume you didn't go to the Victenpins AGM? I know for a fact that the AGM was open to anybody who wanted to go. If I was on the board I would find it difficult to vote for someone who didn't even bother to show up no matter how good they were. Even if...

    From the TBA Website

Just wondering What happens to those people and games bowled while the centre was unregistered? Do high games etc. now count for awards, are national ranking points restored, those bowlers who were told they were ineligible (Seniors) now able to play? Roger

    From the TBA Website

My question is can they do it legally? I'm no lawyer but I've heard of laws about freedom of association. I fully agree that you must be a member of an association to compete in their events but to exclude someone because they belong to another association or none at all seems a bit much. It's...

    DUNN SHIELD 2006

Problem is not with ball manufacturers but the the other company who he is buying from. They are AMF's competitors. But hey if AMF don't mind I certainly don't and say good luck to you. Roger

    DUNN SHIELD 2006

Sorry Chris It's just that when I worked for AMF about 6 years ago. The regional manager told me it would be a conflict of interest to promote/advertise another business selling the same products as AMF ie Bowling balls. Things must have changed with new owners. Roger
