Serious Question. How does a BALL affect CARRY

Hey Gents, great technical article, well done.

Always good to throw some tape on your ball from PAP to fingers and watch the transition.

You can learn a lot from what you see and how the ball should roll at various points of the pattern.

That is one area i have paid a lot of attention to in the last 18 months. Just wish I could repeat the good shots more often. But, get your video camera out and watch your roll and what differences hand positions make.

If you have ever looked on Bowlingchat, I am sure most of you have, there is always a lot of talk about getting the ball to stand up late and just before the pocket to conserve the most energy and create better carry. Adding some tape to your ball is a good learning tool to help understand what drilling suits you and what does not.

As always, for the the cover prep is key to the end result but first you must start with the right layout to give the cover the chance to work.

Again, great thread guys.
