I had a break for about 12 years, came back for 2. Then I injured a knee, now a shoulder so I will miss another 2 years. I had just bought a new ball so I guess I'll have another go if I can afford it on the pension!!

Yes, I agree about tournaments for 180 bowlers. But look out for the sandbaggers then!! Blocked lanes or not, some people have more ability than others in every field.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't need to try it because my ball got stuck in the machine and was badly scratched. The centre repaired it and restored the surface and I have been given a few clues for keeping it clean.
