Heys guys, Thinking of pulling the gear out from under the bed and rocking up to a youth event sometime. Any chance of a heads up on what's on & when? Only really keen on something in NSW, as long as it's not too far north, or the ACT. It's been a while, but I'm putting my money on bowling...

I'd say my favourites in 2004 were NSW Challenge Shield, Bennetts Green Junior C'ships & NSW Country Junior Cup @ Orange in November. Unfortunately AMF Bennetts Green closed not long after their C'ships last year. I've always enjoyed the trip to & bowling at Orange at every year, missed it...

When I was bowling competitively, I was definately concerned about how I was throwing my ball. I wouldnt complain on a brooky strike, but I wouldnt be totally satisfied neither. Nowadays though, as a once a week semi-social bowler, if they all fall down, they all fall down.

Be careful tucking your pinky, it can put a lot of stress on your hand. I've personally busted my hand up doing this in the past, but I know other guys that do it all the time with no problems, just be aware that if you get any sort of uncomfortable sensation stop tucking the pinky straight...

They're not actually that bad, not nearly as good as an AMF hot dog at 8:30am in the morning at check-in for a tourney though ;).
